Jan/Feb ’20 Capsule Wardrobe: Week 3 Outfits

January 31, 2020 1 Comment

Hi, friends. I’m bringing you this week’s outfit post a few days early, since I think it would be more beneficial to share posts on a weekday instead of the weekend. This past week was an interesting one; with the help of my husband, I did a lot of brainstorming and soul-searching to better prepare for the future of this blog. I shared on Instagram why I’m choosing to do monthly capsule wardrobes, and I opened up a little more about my personal shopping habits and expectations. I also shared how to make my favorite Starbucks drink (venti iced chai tea latte with soy milk) at home (you can find the tutorial saved in my highlights). A few lessons I learned this week:

1. I need to include more pieces in my upcoming monthly capsule wardrobes.
2. Giving myself a day (or more) to think through if I want to make a purchase allows me to make better, more informative decisions.
3. I want to invest in at least one silk top for the Spring; preferably one from Everlane.
